How small is a tank to be regarded as a nano?

Don't like the bettas that much. :smile1:

Could add something like a dwarf gourami, but I am happy with it like it is at the moment.

Imagine how boring life would have been if everybody always liked the same things. :-)

An update.

I have added some plants and fish.

Added Rosy tetra's and some cory catfish.

The plant types I don't know. If anyone knows please tell.

Yes, madagascar laceleaf. And it is doing really well.
Bought it from waterzoo.

Sjoe but this tank looks gr8! Well done!

From what I can see in the pics

Hygro Polysperma
Rotala Macranda
Aponogeton Madagascariensis
Alternanthera reineckii (or sessilis)
Sagittaria Subulata (might be a bit of a debate on this one...has the alias Echinodorus Henk-Hugo) :)
Anubias Barteri

Thanks. That is most of them.

There is still one I am wondering about. The one in pic 2 on the left.
It has a fine smallish leaf (almost the shape and size of a jacaranda tree's) with a reddish tint.
It didn't look too good in the petshop but I took it and it seems to be ok. It is making new leafs.

Good to see we have guys with proper plant knowledge here. Appreciate the effort.

Max98 - did you purchase your Laceleaf with this last import from Waterzoo?? If so, then I take my hat off to you for the growth on it. Is that just using light with no CO2 or anything???

Yup. Was from the last import.
I am running metal halide lighting and pressurized co2.

I'm thinking one of the following

Rotala Rotundifolia
Ammania Senegalensis
Nesaea crassicaulis (have my doubts on this one)

Maybe Phil or Prof Dirk could assist here?

Yes, it is a madagascar laceleaf. Just a pity it lasts a season and is dormant again at the moment.
