Hey everyone.i'm looking for some threadfin rainbowfish,rummy noses,young congo tetras or other nice colourful tetra for a tank i'm setting up..but at decent prices..i wana keep most of the money for the pleco's for the tank.lol.located in cape town.

I saw some great looking rummy nose tetras at panorama pets recently, not sure if they are still there though (about R17 each). I know I've seen the others very recently as well.....let me ponder about it and try and retrace my steps to work out where it was......

Go get rummy noses from Tropicum N1 City....they have 'em for R 12 each :)

yo.thanks dale..gona pop in there on saturday morning.

im looking for some stunning dither fish for this tank...seeing as its mostly being set up to breed plecos.lol

A batch of about 30 small green neons just looks awesome. So, if you can get your hands on those at a decent price, grab some....they are really something to watch when shoaling. I actually prefer them above cardinals oddly enough :)

The Congo tetras will take the threadfins apart... Best reconsider your choices unless you want to feed threadfins to congo tetras and rummy noses. Threadfins shouldn't be kept with anything bigger or more aggressive than a neon tetra.

Ok..so i decided to leave the threadfin rainbowfish..got me 16nice size black emperor tetra's and also managed to get 7cardinal tetra's..for only R7 each.lol.

Hey Vee!

When did u see them there? I bought 2 from there about 2 to 3 weeks ago, but they were the only ones they had. I've been in once or twice since, and still none! Maybe I'll try them again one day this week?

got the emperor tetras from rowland...they going in a tank with some stunning ancistrus trirariatus i got from altum..he has some nice stuff
