silver dollar spawning

hey guys my silver dollars spawned today,noticed a differance in behaviour when i was catching fish out for somebody.
so its a buffet in the tank for the moment,due to space i have(9 black ruby barbs,pair of golden ancistrus,neolamprologus helainthus and cylindricus,1 male and 2 female silver dollars)

so next step will be to remove them to their own tank in a weeks time or so and we shall see what happens from then

That's good to hear that your Dollars are spawning :)

But surely one group of fish shouldn't be there - the barbs, Ancistrus and Dollars comes from softer, acidic waters, and then the Neoplamprologus from harder, alkaline water. Surely they should be kept in different tanks with different parameters?

Yup I know but like I said am stuck for space so had to shuffle the pack,have got leleupis and julie ornatus in the other tank and the othe tank is tempm out of order

Those silver dollars look good in your tank. Thankfully they will throw enough eggs to compensate for the ones lost.

What's the plan when your Ancistrus spawn? They are almost ready....I cant wait for that! Hopefully you plan to sell the juveniles after they spawn.
