hello and welcome to TASA

which site banned you?

************************************************** *******
I wanted to get involved on your forum and get acquainted with all members of the forum tasa. Story to share with you all. But someone at forum tasa does not appreciate my messages that I face it and delete all my messages. I also put a message to zelox which was clear when the message was a thank you for the welcome message with a link to a photo gallery of a forum in Singapore that offers fabulous betta competition as I know zelox that likes the betta, I wanted to please him.

So I have the impression that you are not open to the world that is why I was banned.

All forums in the world where I am is the first time a forum that makes me
:(

thank you 2time ;)

I'm sure it was probably just a misunderstanding or something, us South Africans really are a friendly bunch

That's an exaggerated lie. The guy's been nothing but friendly, which is more than what can be said about the admin and mod on this forum. Another thing I've noticed is that whenever someone mentions or posts a link to another forum, it gets deleted. Are you guys so afraid that your members would run off and join other forums, that you have to restrict them with all this red tape?

Not a very open forum at all and I don't think I'm going to stick around.

Generally when someone signs up and immediately starts posting the exact same message about his website in every thread it gets regarded as SPAM.

You have a problem with my "friendliness" rlowe? Well who the hell are you? You have 2 posts in this forum, have never introduced yourself or anything. If you don't like it leave, I'm not stopping you. In ALL 2 of your posts on this forum you have complained, why not just shut up and move on.

How's that for friendliness?

I’m just someone who believes in freedom of speech and that knowledge should be free and unrestricted. Someone who’d like the freedom of posting a link to another forum, to answer a question which has already been answered in greater detail than what has been given here. There are some good posts on this forum, mostly from the professor, which I would not hesitate linking to on another forum. Why should I be restricted from doing so on here?

Have you not wondered why you are loosing members? Why some valued members have asked you to delete their accounts? Why your forum and its little troll are the slanderous talk of others?

I am not complaining, just voicing my opinion. I really wanted to like this forum and perhaps if you had taken a more professional stance instead of this offensive one, I would have stayed on, introduced myself and become a valued member.

My personal opinion is that if reference to another forum or website (local or international) is made in order to aid another member with a query, it should be allowed. However, posts slating other forums should be deleted immediately and admin should then take action accordingly.

Having to watch what one says on any forum makes it more like a school ground...we're here to share our experiences in the hobby & share information.
As some of you may know, I'm a member of a few local forums and I enjoy them all. I believe that there is no way for you (or any other forum) to prevent users from discovering other forums and joining there. We all know that 'poaching' (if you want to call it that) happens. If users leave your forum, let it not be due to bad blood. Like my boss always says, "I don't mind losing a customer on price, but NEVER on service"

What & how you present it on your site is ultimately what is going to keep your users happy and wanting to stay here. If a 'red-tape' approach is going to be applied, just bear in mind that users will happily go elsewhere. Also, not a very good impression on your sponsors. You're trying to build a user base, not reduce it. EG, I shop and Pick & Pay, Checkers & Spar. If I should ever get bad service or products from any one of them, I won't be shopping there any more. The same line of thought applies on forums. Just a thought :)

Just my opinion guys

rlowe - Please stay and see if things improve

Ok, let's get back to the fish & plants now :)

Cheers
Dale

rlowe I have neither the time or inclination to take the "professional stance" with someone who is just here to "cause".

If you want to stick with Dale's grocery store analogy your posts so far have been like coming in to my Spar where you've never been before and telling me you don't like me and you thing my food is rubbish, not that you were planning on buying any anyway.

Its constructive criticism meant for you to improve upon and I’m not the only one who has voiced my opinion. Your community has spoken and you are foolishly ignoring them.

…as this stupid forum setup still prevents me from posting links.

Rory

Not being able to post links under a certain post count is an anti-spam measure. Not being allowed to post links to other forums is a seperate issues altogether, don't confuse the 2.

My friends and my brothers aquarists, I apologize for my absence on the forum, I can reassure you now I am with you.

As you know I am the webmaster of a french forum and unfortunately it started to decline in hearing. I tried to show them the world to motivate them.
I spent almost two years of my life to do for them, pity I failed in my mission.
I can not find my place on the french forums, I have them always more fun to be with you than on the french forums.

Now I said stop, I'm on the forum aqualifestyle-world, a huge project to bring all aquarists the world in one goal ahead on the maintenance of our Fish (http://www.fish-hub.com/forum/glossary.php?do=viewglossary&term=34)and invertebrates and discovery of biotopes.

I know that this mission is possible because you are all ready to help.

We have a large database for you to discover

Thank you for your support to all friends of aquarists worldwide.

I'm all for sharing information and I think it is time to react friends.
I spoke with several researchers on the future of habitats in the world and I realized that these habitats will disappear.

If I put a link, it's not for advertising is to show you the topics.

I understand that manages several forums and I share with over 30 forums in the world.

I suggest you open two subjects, one for you on your forum and one for us on our forum.

Let me explain the idea, on my forum, I have some international guests and accessible forum.

http://www.aqualifestyle-france.com/forum-for-aquarists-of-world-c33/

And acces guest : http://www.aqualifestyle-france.com/sharing-information-among-aquarists-the-world-open-access-invited-f148/

You put your research, for example: you get the dimporhisme or reproduction of a fish, just maybe we've already seen.

After I open a topic on your forum or I would talk about our research and I pause the questions.

Example: My Belgian friend had several clutches of moray (gymnothorax tile) but not fry just be that you have them ...

The idea interests you?

After I've always assist Ambassadors members of other forums in the world, I leave the possibility of a signature and I create a topic to present the forum of world.

A forum of the world does not Concurrency on the contrary it helps to advance.
