hi guys so im thinking im going to take a leaf out of Vis's book and silicone my rocks to the bottom of my tank and then to each other, no risk of them falling . my question is would i need the extra glass pane that vis used?

im ordering the new tank tomorrow and its not huge so it shouldnt take them too long to make. ill probably do the base rocks and then lay the peat down, im going to go the capped peat soaked in chemicult route as i think it'll be interesting to see the difference in growth between this tank and my 1.2m. now does anyone have ideas on what to do, il have four bettas and 2 khuli loaches in the tank? i want lots of caves and tunnels, im ithinking like some sort of hill/mountain, i have a few rocks which i covered with java moss that i could put on the top and then have layers of stone going down forming various caves and tunnels for the bettas to explore and the khulis to hide in. thoughts?

lol yeah that could work except the stone is is granite and really really hard and in lil pieces, it was blasted when they dug for the pipeline lol. small enough for tank use though. i was thinking of building it up in layers and siliconing it in place piece by piece. time consuming but then again iv got lotsa time im on holiday for a month and a half hehe
