Hey guys
Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but here goes.
I am looking for a bit of a strange dimension to full a section of wall in my house. I am wanting a quote from someone to give me a rough idea of how much it will cost. I am happy to email/call them with details.
The size will need to be roughly 85cm x 50cm and built into a woodern cabinet and wooden hood. I have all the equipment and substrate, just need a price on the tank and matching cabinet and hood.
Before anyone suggests, I dont have the tools or space to build my own, otherwise I would have :(
Thats a small tank, im sure any local fish store can do that for you!!!

Cool, let me know who it is. My LFS also offered to do the glass at a good price, it was more the cabinet and hood that I needed the price for as well :)

Didnt find any place that was prepared to custom make me a nice woodern cabinet and glass tank. Did find out one of my LFS's sold the Juwel range of tanks. Anyone had any experience with them? They are quite pricey but seem to be the business.
Does it have to be 85cm? thats like 7cm short of a 3ft tank. I suppose though if you want a cabinet as well you should go for a juwel or jebo. A few members here have fishtank-cabinet setups

I cant move the walls 7cms wider ;)
It's literally a little u-cove type thing that is begging for a tank! There is a Juwel that is 82cms so its like its a sign. So was wondering if anyone has used them before and how good they are, as they are quite expensive for their size. But they appear to be top notch quality, at least in new condition.

Juwel tanks are some of the best imported tanks.
Look at some other threads - eg: "I've got a Juwel!" etc.
The best will be this 82 cm as it is reasonably complete and only need some tweeking,
for your specific needs.
Good luck.

Thanks Gertjc. It seems like a solid tank and comes will all kinds of fancy filters etc, which will allow me to upgrade my older stuff. Just wasnt sure how they held up. I have been searching the forums and there seems to be a few ppl that dont like them and a few that do!

Went and got the Rio 125, got great service and discount from my LFS. Oke was incredibly knowledgable and so keen to help out. They delivered, helped move my striken fish from their makeshift tank while I was at work. Man their service was amazing!! So awesome to see true customer service!
Delivered, set up, fish moved, tank planted and rubbish taken away... FOR FREE!! Cant complain. The guy setting it up was also incredibly knowledgable. Will post some pics once its all settled down.

The curved front was at least R2k or R3k more expensive for not a huge amount of extra space inside. Just couldnt justify it. Not now.
