Franna

They have ALLOT. and yes i don't think they would have gone to the trouble of soaking it. its a long process. mine has been in my tanks for a year and it still leeches allot

Most of wood from LPS will leech for a LONG time. I personally feel the only way to get rid of it is Purigen!

On the whole leeching issue i soaked mine for abt 8 hours filling a drum and covering the wood then wen it cooled filled up again with hot kettle water with some salt i did this until there was no coloured water left i added it to the tank and it hasnt leeched at all from day one and it sinks and does not float at all its 400grams and i know its on the small side so bigger pieces will take longer but this is what i have found to work

Open one at your house if you have the space. Dont pay rent, but you will have to pay normal taxes as to a pet store if im right

You should try that petshop at the Rietfontein Pavillion centre aswell, they have a whole pile about a 1.5m high as you walk in! Not sure about pricing though.
