I'd prefer to sell as a complete tank, makes life easier for me and I don't end up with additional equipment that I don't need

Damn... This would be the perfect FRAG tank... If I had the spare cash and some space, I'd take it.

I would take it but JHB is a bit far for me and a bit short on cash

No rush Franna. Its been up for sale for over a week. 2 hours won't make a difference...

I just want to know if there is allot of scratches or not and why you are selling.
My mom is very  at me for getting a 9th tank but she will forgive me.

neilh

Very little scratches. I have 2 bigger tanks with total volume of over 1000l, so keeping up with WC's etc is a pain in the butt. Its priced that cheap for a quick sale, nothing wrong with the tank or equipment at all. Its hasn't even had fish in it yet, currently only has sand, snails and some Valis.

The Jager heaters would cost in excess of 1k alone, pump is another 500 odd and the stand and sump cost another 1.5k. You do the maths....

Im just making sure. Ok sir you've got a deal. Can the tank be removed from the stand or should I organise a bakkie hehe. Still at R1000 right?

just looked it up. sound fun to try and setup.

Yip, everything can be removed from the stand. Both the tank and sump sit on polystyrene. You'll still need a bakkie though, all 3 together take up a fair amount of space.

This isn't going into a bedroom is it?

Franna

I was planning on my bedroom :push:. is it a bit noisy? . Nothing a bit of Diy cant fix

neilh

Noisy enough to keep you awake, just the way that a drilled tank is, even more so with such a small overflow area. Its in the room next door to my bedroom and it sometimes keeps me awake.

As much as I want to sell it, I don't think its a good idea if you going to be sleeping in the vicinity of this setup

Lol thanks for letting me know. its fine with me. i might even swop it with my very quiet 500L display tank. or i can always use the sump and pump for my smaller tanks and start breeding and just build and test (been planning for a while) my own canister filter for this tank.
