First one could be Eichhornia diversifolia
Second one looks like Hydrocotyle leucocephala

I'm not so sure about pic 1; will have to research when i get time

Pic 2 is either leucocephala or the verticillia

:egg:I think the first one is most likely Eusteralis stellata.
I think Andre is right about the second.:congrats:

Hi

I don't think the 2nd plant is hydroctyle leucocephala...I saw it last night up close and all the leaves has individual stems, and the leaves are slightly too big to be the leucocephala (well at least compared to the ones I've grown and seen in other tanks as). It appears to be the hydroctyle verticillata as the leaves grow to 30cm in length and 3cm in width

Cheers
Dale

Verticillata has round leaves very much like a Nasturtium, these are indented and have a more pronounced scalloped edge to them which is why I think it is Hydroctyle leucocephala.

I see what you mean Gerald....good points raised.
The leucocephala however grows different to what the picture illustrates. Or should I rather say that the leucocephala I have looks different to Henk's plant and matches the images that I've done research on.

 Ok, now I'm confused
Help pls :)

Cheers
Dale

It could be emersed growth.

If it has just come in then I'm sure it's emersed growth.
