Hi there,
I'm also a newby. Maybe I should give you my tank details before asking advice he.
Size 183cm x 48cm x 48cm. The pump I got from a friend. Fluval Biolife. Apparently its a multi-stage filter that fits into the tank. Its a all in one. Tricle filtration (whatever that means) or biological filtration, heater and pump (.55 gallons per minute / 2.1 L per minute). Not sure whether this is good or not. Please let me know if I should use it or tuck IT.
I have not started yet. Still doing some reading first before I make up my mind on what fishes to get. Although I do know that the once I like - prefer soft to slightly acidy water. Now I just have to figure which of the fishes is compatable. Any advice. O and pardon my spelling. I'm Afrikaans speaking - and that does not mean my Afrikaans spelling is any better. Maybe its the blonde hair. But just give this blonde some good advice and some time and she'll have a awsome tank in the new future.
