Building sliders on the tank :)

Hey guys i picked up a old tank and im buikding sliders onto it was wonderngif anyone had jus some tips or hints for me il post picures latter this evening

he glass was all cut in half lengths so it would be easier to build and im doubleing the sliders to creat a glass canopy

This is how the tank started out :) i have removed the sides of the cabinet and the lid :)

you get these tracks at more hardware stores in which the glass wil run... its cheap and works great

We have already bought the glass cut it :) henk im busy putting it togthere we finished phase one putting the front rails on but now its the back ones i wana put on and then the sides then we building up ill take pics this weekend and post them :)

phase two finished all the glass is ready not to be assembled the tank cant wait to complet it and get my fishies inside.

IM proud to report i'm done with job :) what i will do is upload the physical design and then some Photos would love so feed back on it sorry for this been belated but financial year end is jus not so fun

Tip! Shop around - those slider strips can be up to R60 / m! but I found that wood/cubboard shops are a lot cheaper than Mica for egg,
