Ola ola
I finally managed to get myself a double tail betta male this past weekend (and it was pure accident). I actually managed to find 3 of them but only two survived the trip home as the 3rd was a bit sick....thought I could save him by he had other intentions. Anyways, here is a pic of Sniper, one of the two males:

The double tail is crossed with delta, so I'm kinda chuffed. Honestly, I don't really like this one's colouration, but that doesn't matter...as long as I now have the DT tail type (males that is). Now, I have to go hunt for my DT female in my main planted tank (like that's going to be an easy job ). Breeding attempt will commence in a month's time...need oake is still quite young and doesn't look too strong to me either. I am doing water changes in his tank every 2nd day to make sure he is happy and doesn't become sick.
I will update the thread once I manage to get decent pics of the other one....that nobb hides in between the guppy grass & moss all the time. I'll give him some time to get real comfortable with his surroundings...maybe then he'll come out. His colouration is much better than above (white + light blue trim), but his fins has slightly been nipped
Cheers for now
