Just out of curiousity, do you really think you're going to get one of the species?

Where do you put that thing? The local resevoir.

Well i will be able to get some younger ones for R700 each. And you would put them in a 2m tank.

Agreeing with Henk here. And only real top notch guys will be able to tell S. aureus and S. macrocephalus apart from the 'regular' S. formosus. You'll probably find that the supplier is trying to boost sales.

And these guys should fetch a much higher price...

No these are the asian arowanas and these are young like i said. they lost their yolk sacs not too long ago but are old enough to be sold. Also, Salmon, if you are right and they are possibly S. formosus then that would mean i can't get them as those are illegal the moment. You guys have any better ideas? I would like to know.

By the way thanks for the heads up guys it turns out that the person who was offering the Little ones was actually selling ones with the yolk sac attatched as a friend of mine went to see some today and saw that they are way too young to be sold. They should at least no longer have the yolk sac.
