Hey guys,

i will be posting some photos of the various fish in my fish room (1st need to clear out the place a bit - its a mess!)

At the moment i have the following:

40 - Dicrossus malculatus
16 - Geophagus atifrons
16 - Geophagus brasiliensis
40 - Otocinclus affinis(?)
60 - Paracheirodon simulans

various other bits and bobs like cories, white clouds etc.... will post some photos later :D

First show us the fishroom itself :D please ! But have you down scaled lately, or was those stands you were selling for some space ?

Very nice, taking a pic of any of these small fast moving fish is a mission !

Singularity - yea esp with a slow focusing macro lense.... manual focus seems to work best for the tetras

Whoa... i didn't realize how small those fish are until i saw them in person!
I went through to meet Henk last evening (He is lending me two tanks so i can set up a quarantine) so i got to see this fish room... It's awesome.

I have never seen so many tanks in a place that isn't a fish shop. The highlight is the freaking huge tank in his lounge... 2000L maybe?

Henk, thanks a stack for all the goodies and the wealth of advice! :cool:
(I am sure my yellow fish will get is colour back soon with those veggie flakes)

glad to be able to help.... the total system volume on the big tank is 2500L :D

yea it works great - problem being its not very fast on the auto focus.... so out of the 300 photos you shoot you can use maybe 20 or 30

These buggers are damn cute! Saw them with my own eyes and they are stunners! I also saw the other boytjies.....very impressive indeed :)

As requested.... please ignore the dirty glass. I'm planing on moving things around and to setup the 2 empty 1.2s. Then i am also planning on getting smaller tanks for the 2nd row on the lower stands.

I have sold off two of the stands that didnt fit into my master plan :bigsmile:

The empty 1.2 you can see in the middle of the 1st picture will be turned 90deg to stand against the back wall. The air compressor will be hidden away with black tubing running along the ceiling.....

Great fishroom in the making, Henk. I realy like what I saw yesterday...
Especially the cories and checkerboards... (and that massive tank!)

I was able to have a look at the fish room and 2.5 in person yesterday. Nothing any photo shows, can actually depict this setup! Awesome!!!
