i have got malawi's
in my 300litre but i want to make that into a planted tank so where sholud i put them
i have got 2 100litre tanks
and one 160litre tank availablecould i fit them in one of those
or a combination of two
i have 7 yellow labs
4 other small one dont know what they are
2 10cm ones dont know what those are
one venustus
and one yellow tail malawi
could anyone help
oh and i want space for my angelfish fry too

Hi bud. The Malawis need a 1.2 m tank at least. Secondly. Malawi's and plants dot mix. They will chow all your plants before you know it. Stunning fish but need a rocky, sand filled tank, maybe plastic plants.

that sucks i guess i will have to sell them then ,but i realy like them ,i just like a planted tank better
the only plants they dont chow are java ferns and anubius but it is hard to get hold of a large amount of these plants

Pity. Dont you have space for another tank. They are stunning fish if you get the right mix

nope my tanks fill my room and my dad wouldnt want me to get another one
.i already have four but maybe someone on this forum would take my malawi's:bigsmile:
the hard part is convincing my dad for me to sell them:amazed:
well its about 3 years till varsity so then i can buy more tanks but not well i am stayin in my dads house.:eek:
plus i have to pay for everthing out of my own money:evil:

oh and risen if i do make it into a planted if you have some more cuttings or if anyone does i would love to get soem more
the ones you gave me are doing realy well
and it is nice to see them grow well
