I have kept freshwater aquariums for 8 years now and saltwater for 2. I have a discus amazonia aquarium and a malawi aquarium.

Specs: Amazonia aquaium
Size: 1500 litre
Filtration: Sump design filter on roof
Fish: discus, gouramis, allot of tetras
Lighting: 2 x 85 white daylight energy savers
2 x 45 watt cool white energy savers
2 x 40 watt marine blue moon T8 fluorescents

Specs: Malawi aquarium
Size: 180 litre
Filtration: tetra ex1200 canister filter
Fish: 45 malawi
Lighting: 2x 40 watt cool white energy savers
2x 14 watt blue energy savers
