Hi
I have a big problem
I moved my tanks on Saturday and cleaned them all and added new sand sand so on.
everything looked good except for the murky water which thought was from the sand so I did a +/- 50% waterchange on monday and now all my mollies are dieing I had to take out a hell of a lot during lunch... what can this be????

I will check the water permamiters tonight
any help will be appriciated

Sounds like water is out of parameters --- might even be something in the sand.

Well I have lost all but 10 fry. all my mollies have died due to my stupidity I could kick myself ..
the problem was "new tank Syndrome" I cleaned the tank out completely and the added all the fish at the same time so I over loaded the bio load completely and that must of coursed a spike and killed all my fish.
I have done a 60% water change now so I am hoping for the best that some of the fry survive.

It could have been stress, moving and up rooting your fish makes them terribley nervous causing all kinds of problems, diseases etc. The water parameters as Donny said is also a contributing factor as fish need to be acclimated to the new water before adding them, NTS is also a factor as all the bacteria in your soil on the glass, the decor & if you didn't keepyour bio filter & all other items discussed in oxygenated water they would have died too causing the nitrogen cycle to start all over again. Buy your fish a liquid called Immuno Vital by Marc Wiess Companies and do a regular 20-30% water change until the parameters come right.

HI Fish Fantasy
unfortunately all except for 8 fry died, I lost all my mollies due to stupidity, I should have know that if I clean out the tank completely the bacteria would die but yet I still did it, O well so you learn to think before you act hey... but the 8 fry have grown very nicely so I should have a few more mollies very soon.

But thanks for your input I realy do appreciate it.

Shame man! I feel your pain but I'm glad some fry survived & I'm also glad that a lesson is learnt everyday no matter how young or old one is! :)

We all learn by our mistakes and the mollies when grown will breed again :)
