Hello. I'm from Cape Town and am very pleased to finally find a South African fishkeeping forum. I was using a Uk site, but it was frustrating because a lot of the stuff wasn't relevant to me, here at the tip of Africa. So cool, hope to learn lots and contribute where I can.

I've got a 2 year old 60l setup in my room - angels, corys, cardinals and two surviving cherry barbs. I've also got a 200l that someone didn't want anymore (score!) with about 25 plattys (all from 5 that I bought originally) with the inherited buenos aires tetras and some black widow tetras.

I'd like to get some central American Chichilds for the 200l, possibly firemouths? Any ideas?

hi and welcome, i wouldnt advise you mixing cichlids with the current fish. The current fish will get chowed if they are small enough.
I personally like firemouths although i have no experience with them

I wouldn't, except maybe the buenas aieries (horrible spelling, I know), which are fully grown and hard-arsed. They stared picking on the angels when they were in there! Very irritating...
