Small planted tank just to get back into it.

Hi guys,

I went past the store to start buying my equipment as planned but unfortunately, they didn't have a couple of things so I postphoned my purchase until January when they've received new stock. I did however get myself a smallish tank with some plants but I really did not do any research on them, it was merely a situation of taking a bunch of plant to populate the tank with. For the large tank I will definitely be buying according to a specific list, which I still need to compile... :P

N.B.: The lightning is really terrible and the phone camera does not help either...

looking good - what substrate is under the sand?

Thanks Henk. Well, the store was out of stock and seeing as this is only a temporary setup (like a few weeks), I didn't use any substrate under the sand. However, I do need some tutorials / howto's on setting up a planted tank properly. Could you recommend some please?
