Hi guys newbie here, been keeping tropicals for about 8 years properly that is :). first time joining a forum for tropicals, hope to learn some new stuff and maybe improve my current setup.

hi guys tanks for the intro. currently have a 6 foot tank, a bit narrow due to space problems, the tank is just under 400L. i have a pair of silver dollars and green severums, a parrot 2 clown loaches and 2 hoplo cats, and just added 2 ancistrus.

thanks alot for the kind words guys, there are a few things i would like to change in this setup but just cant do,
1) i would love a nice fine sandy substrate but cant see myself taking all the gravel out, the amonia spike would be crazy.
2) i hate the fake plants but have no choice the dollars chow the leafy stuff as soon it hits the water.
3) wanna add a sump - this i think i will do soon it will just have filter floss just to help polish up the water a bit.
4) then of course some nice schooling fish :( again not gonna happen they will just be parrot and sev snacks

1) i have done this but on a 1.2 and I set up a seperate holding tank for my fish, when you have done it and then look at your tank your heart will tell you it was worth it :)
2) know how this feels had 8 Dollars in my tank :)
3) .
4) get more Dollars they looks awesome when they school.

hi there the tank doesnt have a background, thats actually my lounge wall its some chineese plaster thing.
