"long thing looks like a species of Cabomba

"sword thingy" looks like it could be a type of vallis or saggitaria, not sure of the difference

"big leafed thing" might be amazon sword

OK... you guys are no help... I'm now going to refer to my plants as

"Green plant #1"
"Green plant #1 with roots"
"Green plant #1 with roots and snails eggs"
"Green plant #2"
"Green plant #2 with chewed leaf"

So Madam... How is "Green plant #6 with polysideracus" doing in your tank?

cuase it will grow any where in any conditions - hence its a invasive weed

Ferryman

probably cause A) they dont know its invasive or B) they "believe" they have a way to sidestep or loophole the regulations... possibly

Henk Hugo

Ferry - if you phone the DEAT line they will send out an inspector out to nail them

Zoom, I'm not sure which plant you're referring to, but all the plants you gave me are looking BEAUTIFUL!!! It appears that my plecs have acquired a taste for the one, and I don't foresee that they will last much longer in there... :) Naughty buggers.

Getting the new tank on Saturday... eeeeeeeeeeee!! *excitement*!!!

okay, now i need some plant ID help as well please
i think one is bacopa, not sure, the rest i forgot the names as soon as i walked out the shop

One is a bit like a vetplantjie, the one i think is bacopa, (now i'm not even sure of that name anymore, anyway)
then there's a red leaved one, i think is related to alternanthera, but its 'flowers' are red also
and lastly one i think might be limnophila sessiflora? not sure

Ferryman

*bump, cmon, someone must know these plants, even a common name would help me? (provided its the correct common name)

Ferryman

ag, dont worry, just found them,
Okay, found the third one is Ambulia? or something, Limnophila sessiflora/Limnophila heterphylla? Its just Super tiny at present

Firsts is bacopa, dunno what type, but yeah, and the middle one i'm very suspicious of, i think its a marsh plant, not supposed to be submerged,,, dunno??
