Ozzy (my first fighter - about 18months old) He is huge - ask everyone who has seen him :P Just a normal veiltail tho.

Love the pics, they are all stunning. I love the one of the little one lying in the plants. Edge does that every now and again too. If I may go off topic for a bit, but what plants is he lying in/on? Is Milamber a metallic male? I have one that is a very similar colour, but I have not taken pics of him just yet so I can't post...

Yep Milamber is a metallic purple/black. He is a character - he doesnt sleep on the plants floating at the top, he loves to sleep on the plants near the substrate or on the substrate - at first it used to freak me out completely! Now Ive gotten used to it :P He is sleeping on some stargrass - between him and Ozzy they have weird habits - they are both very fussy about plants. Milamber will uproot something if he doesnt like where it has been planted. Ozzy will not tolerate certain plants such as the stargrass at all.

Milamber's name actually comes from the Raymond E Feist - Magician series. Ozzy is short for Ozzymandias - from a James Patterson series. Now to find a name for the new kid.

or how bout belgarath from mr Eddings belgariad and mallorean or Sparhawk from the tamuli series, one of the literary greats in my humble opinion ;-) love the green i got three green girlies now they gorgeous! will have to post some pics soon. Milamber looks similar to Kratos, he's abit more silver red though. i would love a halfmoon but dont have the space, got a plakat though. Kratos sleeps on the gravel aswell under his wood sometimes i cant find him and then i panic worried that he's jumped out since its an open top lol and the plakat will sit in one spot in the morning and stare at me til i feed. its a lil freaky lol

I love your red veil tail. He look very much like my red half moon. He is also that red and has a blue by his top fin.
They double tail is very nice. And I love the light purple half moon.
