Common guys, how about giving us a run-down on all your products and what we can use them for. You did become a sponsor to market your product did you not? So tell us about them.

Hey Jpvd007, thanks for the post. It would take weeks for me to go over every product that we have and even then I would miss things. Are there any products or types of products you would like to know more about?
Really our primary goal in taking part in forums like this is not necessarily to market our product but more to make ourselves available to our customers or potential customers. We like to be around for questions and problems solving.
I would actually like to know why you guys launched the aquavitro line if you have most of those products on your seachem range?
What makes the aquavitro different?
@ Vis, Now you see there is y I started the thread so that someone would actually ask a Question gdt78 not give me a web site address that I have looked at a million times, thanks Vis
@ seachem, I did this cos I am a fan of Your product and your thred has been open for a week and no one is using it for what it is here for, oh and I like getting people worked up:cheesy:
@ Seachem, Are you guys thinking of a stand at the Fish expo?

I think they will be represented by aquarium depot.
That is a great question. When initially released, many people though that Aquavitro was replacing our established product line, but that is not the case. Aquavitro is to Seachem as Lexus is to Toyota, it is simply another option that we consider our best. The Aquavitro line consists of unique new products, new and improved formulations, and stronger concentrations than some of the original Seachem products. The lines were also condensed. Both the reef version and the plant consist of 7 products ( plus a salt in the reef line) that contains the essentials that one needs to be successful. The products are formulated to be used within minutes of one another, making them simple for beginners to use yet the products are advanced enough and produce the results that more experienced hobbiest expect from Seachem.
Of course, the Seachem products are still very popular and can be used in conjunction with the Aquavitro range. We simply wanted to do something different and were looking for an outlet for new ideas. Obviously many of the Seachem products have been around for years and have become very popular. We would not want to change these products but instead developed the Aquavitro range. Here we can employ new technologies and new understandings of the aquarium hobby quickly and easily, getting them to the consumer in a timely fashion.

Seachem i am using your discus buffer product to sort out my high ph problem and its working fine my ph is at an acceptable level and the fish seem unaffected by the change at least not for the worse.now we had the discussion on that item and it was stated that it does not soften water merely buffers it to an acceptable level for certain fishkeeping.now i see your product neutral regulator claims to soften the water while adjusting it to ph 7 and also has all the properties of your prime product negating its added use.so what i'd like to know if you can is what is the neutral regulator doing that the discus buffer is not?
JungleAquatics when are you guys updating the website so that we can check out the pricing, will anyway pop in there the weekend.
I am starting a new hightech tank for the first time and was looking for a dosing solution that was not EI but affordable and easy.
I think I should give the aquavitro a go.
O and I like the names :)

@Vis (http://www.tropicalaquarium.co.za/member.php?u=530) maybe you can answer this for me:
Is aquavitro consistant of the full range of all elements found in EI as the old seachem range was, only asking as I never heard of aquavitro before?
I've switched out to using the AV range now. It’s very affordable and you use less compared to the Flourish range. I'm currently dosing based on the pdf schedule on the seachem site.
Hein I have no idea but Seachem should have :)
I only saw the product in a shop once and did not have time to check the description.
I am as always in the mood for experimenting with new things :)
Thanks for the posts!
Yes, the new aquavitro plant line has all of the full range of elements, much like the Flourish line. However, many of the products in the new line are much more concentrated and are more efficient. You will notice that there is not an equivalent of the Flourish Excel in the new line, so it is perfectly acceptable to use the Flourish Excel in conjunction with the new product line. Another aspect of the new line is that by using the entire line together, you will be able to maintain a good potassium level. There is not a specific potassium supplement, but potassium is present in several of the products. If any of you have not seen the new line of products, follow the link below:

Enjoy!

Seachem - currently I am using borehole water in my tanks, and would like to lower the PH and hardness of the water. Which one of you products would you suggest I use to achieve this.
Thanks for the post!
For freshwater community tanks only, I would recommend using our Neutral Regulator and Acid Regulator in conjunction with one another in order to target a specific pH. These are phosphate based buffers that will help to lower the pH and soften your water. Follow the link below to read more about these products:
Seachem. Neutral Regulator (http://www.seachem.com/Products/product_pages/NeutralRegulator.html)
Seachem. Acid Regulator (http://www.seachem.com/Products/product_pages/AcidRegulator.html)
For planted tanks, I would recommend using our Acid and Alkaline Buffers in conjunction with one another in order to target a specific pH. These buffers will not lower general hardness, so in order to do that you may need to use a pillow softener in your filter. Follow the links below to read further about these products:
Seachem. Alkaline Buffer (http://www.seachem.com/Products/product_pages/AlkalineBuffer.html)
Seachem. Acid Buffer (http://www.seachem.com/Products/product_pages/AcidBuffer.html)
Please let us know if you have further questions!
