Was splitting my Siamese algae eaters this evening.

FINALY caught the one.

Was doing the standard fish count to see if the jumpers where all in.
Could not find the second guy..
Finally found the little chap.. :(
Under one of the rocks I moved......

Aah, shame Gilbert :wondering: I'm sorry to hear that.. Such a sinking feeling to know that you've lost / hurt a fish due to something avoidable..

I was 'sweeping' my tank the other day getting rid of leaves from my floating plant using the fish net like you would use a pool net to rake leaves out your pool. I then stood the net on the side of the tank to do some moving/cleaning tidying in the tank. Left the net there for about 20 minutes and when I decided to empty the net of the leave, I discovered I had picked up a miniature guppy. She didn't survive... Now that's dumb!

I had just bought 2 bala sharks and put them in the quarantine tank left the room to clean my net too and forgot to put the lid on, the phone rang then someone was at the gate then i had to run out and by the time i got back the 1 bala shark had jumped out and was Bala biltong, that's also a silly move. :(

Well to add to it all, my one rope went into the syphon pipe lastnight during the waterchange :)

Its about 7m long to get out the house.

Ended up blowing the pipe for about 2 minutes to finally get him out the otherside.

Really glad to hear that there are other peeps that also has "momentary loss of brain power" LOL. Thought me and lovey were the only ones hahahaha

Gilbert it looks like you are having a bad week - a word of advice - stay AWAY from your tank until the end of the week. Once things start happening they just don't stop in my experience :D LOL

:wondering:Dont wory i am also a murderer when i was moving my tank i filled a bucket with tank water and put the fish in the bucket. stupid me i never put the tank lid on the bucket and my red tail black shark jumped out and when i went to put the fish in the tank i stood on him:sad2:
